Python Job: Python Developer

Python Developer - Milton Keynes - £550 per day OUTSIDE IR35 - 6 months

We are currently recruiting for a Python Developer to join one of our clients for a 6 month initial contract. They are offering £550 per day outside IR35.

This role will require someone to be on site 5 days per week, based near Milton Keynes (commutable from Northampton, East Midlands, Bedford, Luton and North London).

This role is working in an SC Security Cleared environment. You will need to be SC or DV Security Cleared or eligible to undertake Security Clearance.

Skills and Experience Required

• Extensive knowledge of Python programming language
• Agile ITIL Foundation level / relevant experience
• Microsoft/Linux role-based certification and any relevant product certifications
• Knowledge of database concepts, object and data modelling techniques and design principles and of database architectures, software and facilities
• Substantial experience in relevant roles, including technologies in an enterprise environment, and of working within a secure environment
• Python 3.10 or higher
• Linux/Ubuntu/Debian/Red Hat
• SAN/backup Storage
• VMware platforms
• TCP/IP Network Knowledge
• Data engineering and manipulation
• Testing
• Prototyping
• Asset and configuration management
• User-centred desig
• Analyse, interrogate and evaluate data
• Draft/author professional/technical documents
• Interpret professional/technical documents
• Lead in a matrix structure

Working Hours

This will be a shift based role covering the service period of 07:00 to 19:00. This will be based on two shifts; an early shift covering from 07:00 until 15:30 (with up to a 1hr lunch break) and a late shift covering from 10:30 until 19:00 (with up to a 1hr lunch break).
